We’re Open for Care

The entire Oral Surgery Hawaii team is excited to welcome patients back to our offices and fulfill your oral health needs. We are scheduling appointments now.

Our Doors Are Open For Our Community

We are now scheduling appointments. If you need oral surgery care, our team is here for you.

Committed to
Keeping You Safe

We are taking additional measures to ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff while our office remains open.

Our Commitment to Health & Safety

As always, our practice takes every precaution to keep patients and staff safe and healthy. While we have always adhered to and exceeded the standards for decontamination set by OSHA, we are going one step further and incorporating the latest CDC guidelines.

We are confident that normal procedures can resume safely but ask for your cooperation and patience as we implement the below guidelines to care for you.

The Measures We Are Taking To Protect Our Patients

We ask you to keep the following in mind prior to and during your appointment:

  • To minimize the number of patients in our office, we are offering online virtual consultations. Contact our practice to find out if your appointment can be completed in a virtual setting and we will happily meet with you online to begin your care.
  • All patients will be screened prior to their appointment. We will complete the recommended screening when scheduling each appointment, confirming each appointment, and prior to entering our practice for your treatment.
  • We have adjusted our scheduling practices to limit the number of patients in our practice, maintain proper social distancing, and minimize the number of team members each patient interacts with for the duration of their appointment.
  • When you arrive, we will complete the screening questionnaire, take your temperature, and direct you to our hand washing station. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you to wear during your appointment.
  • Once the screening process is complete, you will be escorted to your consultation room immediately. We are no longer utilizing our waiting room for patients and escorts.
  • After seeing each patient, all consult rooms and operatories are being cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectants.

How We Are Protecting the Safety of Our Staff & Doctors

We are taking additional steps toward ensuring the safety of our staff.

  • All staff will be screened each day before entering our practice and seeing patients. Each staff member will be required to wash their hands upon passing the screening process and beginning care.
  • We are practicing safe social distancing, keeping our front office and back office team members separate
  • Our team is utilized all recommended personal protection equipment while caring for patients in the practice including N95 masks, bonnets, gowns, shoe coverings and face shields.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO PATIENTS: If you or someone in your household have a fever, cough, or flu-like symptoms, please stay at home and don’t come to the practice. Your doctor may request an online virtual consultation if you are displaying symptoms.

At Oral Surgery Hawaii, we appreciate the ongoing support from our patients, referring providers, families, and friends. Thank you for your patience and cooperation while these measures are put into effect.
